Celebration of 79th Independence Day

The 79th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great patriotism and fervor at Government College Sihma. The event was organized under the inspiring leadership of Principal Dr. Sunil Kumar, who presided over the celebration to honor the sacrifices of freedom fighters and instill a sense of national pride among students and staff. The program commenced with the hoisting of the national tricolor flag by Principal Dr. Sunil Kumar, accompanied by the national anthem sung by all present. The chief guest of the event was Ms. Suman, Sarpanch of Sihma, who delivered an inspiring address emphasizing the significance of independence, civic responsibilities, and unity. The special guest, Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Singh, shared valuable insights on the historical importance of independence and the role of youth in shaping the future of the nation. Students presented patriotic songs, poems, and cultural performances that reflected the spirit of freedom and the rich heritage of India. A special tableau depicting the history of the Indian independence movement was displayed, showcasing the contributions of eminent freedom fighters.
